Job description
PONTICELLI CONGO, a subsidiary of the Ponticelli Frères Group, is recruiting for construction and/or industrial maintenance projects.

We are offering you a permanent contract. The position is based in Pointe-Noire, Congo.
The position we are offering involves the following main tasks:
- ensure that RFQs for projects, new works and unit shutdowns (refinery, offshore/onshore sites) are taken into account;
- prepare the bid in accordance with management and ensure that the bid is reviewed;
- ensure that the contract or order is revised;
- ensure that the contract or order and any amendments are received and verified;
- monitor the project budget and expenditure incurred for the projects under your responsibility;
- analyse the profitability of the project throughout the progress of the work, then analyse and intervene in the event of any discrepancies;
- inform the customer of any technical or progress discrepancies;
- evaluate, submit and validate additional work to the customer;
- carry out or invoice the customer;
- report project progress (safety, quality, cost, schedule) to management;
- manage the company's specific operations to the various projects/shutdowns, as well as the interfaces between Project Management, Workshop Activities and Welding & Quality Control Activities;
- act as the interface during the various phases of projects between the customer, PCG project management and subcontractors by supervising project managers;
- define human and material resource requirements in conjunction with department managers and project managers, and communicate them to the HR manager;
- ensure the development of production tools (facility layout) and their optimisation in line with the commercial strategy defined by senior management;
- ensure the implementation of the HSE policy in accordance with CLIENT requirements and those of PONTICELLI CONGO, and ensure that objectives are met;
- ensure that the quality policy is implemented in accordance with CLIENT requirements and those of PONTICELLI CONGO, and ensure that objectives are met (for all those involved in the project);
- ensure that the company's contractual commitments to the client, service providers and subcontractors are fulfilled;
- ensure compliance with the performance and profitability commitments defined by the subsidiary's management.
You will need to pay close attention to all relevant commercial information that you communicate to your line managers. You will report to the Branch Manager.
Profile
With a general or specialised engineering degree, particularly in mechanics, you have 5 years' experience in the oil and gas production facilities sector.
You have a good knowledge of business or project management.
You have proven a sense of responsibility and a talent for management.
You are rigorous and methodical in your approach. You demonstrate common sense and are able to anticipate and analyse.
You have demonstrated the ability to lead and motivate multinational teams.
You know how to be both authoritative and flexible depending on the circumstances.
A good level of French and English is required for this position.
