Ponticelli is seeking an experienced Tank Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the mechanical maintenance of a storage tank project within an oil and gas site in Cabinda, Angola. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  Supervise and coordinate mechanical activities related to the maintenance of storage tanks.
• Ensure compliance with standards
• Manage and lead a team of technicians, welders, and fitters to execute work efficiently.
• Monitor and inspect welding, structural integrity, and corrosion protection of tanks.
• Develop work schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections, and materials used.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
