Ponticelli Frères, an international industrial group serving the oil and gas sector, is recruiting for its Nigerian subsidiary a Subsea Fabrication Project Manager to lead fabrication projects of subsea structures for offshore installations.

Join us on a technical support contract based in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

 

As the appointed representative of Ponticelli Frères Group Management on a dedicated subsea fabrication project, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, focused on offshore subsea structures such as mudmats, frames, and metallic supports.

 

You will ensure:

Full compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) policies throughout the project.
Fulfillment of all contractual obligations toward clients, service providers, and subcontractors.
Achievement of financial and operational goals set by the group.
Effective communication and coordination with all external stakeholders.
 

Your tasks will be (not exhaustive) :

Oversee the fabrication of offshore subsea structures ensuring compliance with technical and QSHE standards.
Prepare, review, and validate project proposals and contracts with management.
Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
Track project progress, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Proactively communicate technical and schedule deviations to the client.
Manage invoicing, variations, and claims for additional work.
Organize and lead project kick-off and regular progress meetings (internal and client).
Coordinate resource allocation including personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and purchases.
Select, supervise, and evaluate subcontractors.
Ensure accurate and compliant technical and administrative documentation.
Manage project close-out activities including punch list resolution and final acceptance.
Conduct project debriefings and report feedback to management.
Lead and support the project team including performance reviews and training.
Participate in recruitment and represent the company with third parties.

Profil

• Engineering degree (general or specialized in subsea, structural, or mechanical disciplines) or equivalent experience in offshore/subsea fabrication and construction.
• At least 8 years of significant experience managing subsea fabrication projects.
• Deep understanding of subsea engineering, particularly related to mudmats and metallic offshore structures.
• Proven expertise in managing complex projects from tender to completion.
• Strong ability to implement and enforce QSHE policies.
• Recognized leadership skills with the ability to delegate and supervise multidisciplinary teams.
• Experienced in stakeholder management and client communication.
• Autonomous, proactive, reliable, rigorous, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work offshore as required.
• Proficient in IT tools for project tracking and reporting.
• Ability to define and monitor project performance indicators (KPIs).
• Fluent in English.
