Job description
The HSE supervisor is the first point of contact on a site regarding all HSE issues. He is
responsible for the full implementation of the HSE policy on his site. He is responsible for the
execution of workplace inspections and the organisation of toolbox meetings on his site. He is
responsible for all safety-related communication with the client's safety department. The HSEsupervisor reports directly to the prevention advisor.
Profile
- Carrying out workplace inspections on his worksite
- Supporting operational managers in drawing up risk analyses on the work site
- Supporting managers in drawing up project safety plans
- Following up and registering incident reports
- Informing the site manager and prevention advisor about findings from workplace inspections
- Attending safety meetings at the client's premises
- First aid & investigation in case of an accident at work

Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Dutch language is necessary
- Knowledge of Force Mechanics & Ponticelli HSE policies
- Know the vision, fundamental principles, golden rules and instructions on HSE of Force
Mechanics & Ponticelli
- Have knowledge of HSE and maintain it
- Have a general knowledge of Force Mechanics' activities and the associated risks and
environments Be able to categorise risks.
- Have a good knowledge of English ( speaking + writing)
- Knowledge of the various systems/ databases (Glide, ...)
Know-how
- How to carry out audits on the site
- How to communicate with the client regarding HSE matters
- Know how to draw up, classify and check HSE documents
- How to report to site management + prevention advisor
- Know how to use computer tools (Word, Excel, Glide ...)
Qualities
- Being exemplary (wearing PPE (personal protective equipment), following instructions,
complying with his PSP (Personal Safety Plan), etc.)
- Strong communication skills internally but also with the customer and training providers
- Being able to work in a structured way
- Be able to form a real team, work well with people
- Be pro-active
