The position we are offering is based on the following main tasks :

 

MANAGEMENT OF THE WORKS 

  • analyse the specifications and carry out the feasibility study ;
  • participate in site start-up meetings ;
  • finalise the technical study and the preparation of the site ;
  • define the resource requirements (material, personnel, subcontracting) ;
  • organise and allocate resources to the work ;
  • establish requests for construction equipment (machinery, large equipment, tools, etc.) ;
  • participate in the planning meeting ;
  • analyse physical progress, ensure that the schedule is respected and
    take action in case of deviation ;
  • manage the evolution of the workforce on the site ;
  • identify and propose customer modifications, revisions, additional work ;
  • transmit the follow-up of the activity of the site to his hierarchy.

MANAGEMENT

  • manage the works engineers and the entire works organisation placed under his responsibility ;
  • check the team's scores and their allocation before communicating them to the relevant departments ;
  • conducting annual or end-of-assignment interviews, depending on the organisation of the entity ;
  • propose promotions, bonuses, career development, training, transfers.

Profile

You have a Bac+2 degree or more in mechanical engineering, with 8 years' experience in the management of works in an industrial or construction environment.

You are organise and recognised for your human qualities (diplomacy, leadership, etc.).

You have an operational level of English.
