Job description
PBS Offshore (Ponticelli UK Ltd) are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of plant and equipment by providing onshore maintenance engineering support, managing maintenance optimisation activities, and facilitating effective coordination with the maintenance team.
Key Deliverables:
- Provide strategic and tactical technical support for the platform/site and onshore support teams.
- Identify maintenance optimisation opportunities within the CMMS and daily work routine, raising MDCRs or A3's as appropriate.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with Technical Authorities to ensure system integrity and compliance with maintenance requirements.
- Challenge and optimise maintenance activities by applying risk-based techniques to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance periodicities.
- Ensure all maintenance operations are performed in accordance with best discipline practices and established procedures, maintaining high operational standards.
- Assist GMOC Site Representatives and Offshore Supervisors in troubleshooting and resolving equipment problems to minimise operational disruptions.
- Work closely with Reliability Engineers and other onshore engineers to support reliability improvement programs, RCM analyses, and the development of maintenance strategies.
- Proactively support and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) processes and requirements, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
Profile
Qualifications and Work Experience:
Essential: Engineering Diploma or equivalent, with relevant industry experience.
Essential: Experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within the energy sector.
Desirable: Familiarity with CMMS (UNISOL) and SAP systems.
Job Specific Knowledge:
Essential: Strong understanding of maintenance engineering principles and practices.
Essential: Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to maintenance and safety.
Desirable: Experience in asset maintenance management and project execution.
Skills:
Essential: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical issues promptly.
Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Technical Authorities and other stakeholders.
Essential: Proficiency in planning and optimising maintenance activities for improved efficiency.
