Description de la mission

To pursue the growth of our Project Management Office (PMO), we are looking for a Procurement Lead.

The PMO Procurement Lead is the technical reference (Subject Matter Expert) in O&G Material (PVV and STR) and responsible for managing and overseeing procurement activities on:

  • the Projects within the PMO perimeter ;
  • routine Contracts, when required by the affiliate.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all procurement processes align with the organization’s strategic objectives, project requirements, and compliance standards. The PMO Procurement Lead will collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, suppliers, and other departments to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely procurement of goods and services necessary for project execution.

His/Her activities will be :

On Medium/large scale Project (with a dedicated Project Procurement lead):

  • support/coach the Project team on the procurement methodology, follow up and reporting ;
  • ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements ;
  • serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related matters within the PMO ;
  • identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvement ;
  • lead procurement planning sessions with project teams to establish clear procurement schedules and requirements.

On small scale Project / Routine Activities driven by the Affiliate:

  • execute all the procurement activities and expediting ;
  • manage procurement budgets for projects, ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets ;
  • provide regular updates to project managers, senior management, and other stakeholders on procurement status, risks, and issues.

He/She will also :

  • continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness ;
  • implement best practices in procurement management and stay updated on industry trends.

Profil

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
Knowledge/Experience :
Minimum 4 years of experience with procurement in Oil & Gas
In deep knowledge of the piping and structural O&G material
Fluent English and French
Soft skills :
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and manage financial data related to procurement.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
