Description de la mission

The PRVs Valves Maintenance Supervisor oversees the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs) & VALVE to ensure proper functioning and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing a team of valve technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, troubleshooting valve issues, and maintaining high safety and operational standards.
The supervisor ensures that all PRVs/VALVEs maintenance activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

Team Supervision & Leadership:

  • lead and supervise a team of PRVs/VALVE technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality work
  • plan and delegate daily tasks to the maintenance team, including inspection, testing, and repair activities
  • conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and resolve personnel issues as necessary

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:

  • develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PRVs/VALVE, ensuring timely inspections and servicing to prevent failures
  • coordinate with other departments (such as operations, production, or safety teams) to schedule valve maintenance activities with minimal disruption to plant operations
  • monitor and adjust the maintenance schedule as needed to address any
    unplanned valve repairs or replacements

Valve Inspection, Testing & Repair:

  • oversee the inspection and testing of PRVs / VALVE to ensure they function within safety and regulatory limits
  • troubleshoot malfunctions, recommend corrective actions, and oversee repairs or valve replacements when necessary
  • ensure that all maintenance work complies with manufacturer recommendations, industry standards (API, ASME, etc.), and regulatory requirements
  • maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, testing results, and valve performance data

Inventory & Equipment Management:

  • manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials necessary for
    maintenance
  • coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely acquisition of required valve parts and tools
  • maintain and monitor tools, testing equipment, and calibration devices to ensure they are in good working condition and meet accuracy requirements

Safety & Compliance:

  • enforce safety protocols during all maintenance activities, ensuring the team adheres to safety regulations and plant policies
  • conduct safety training for the team and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations (e.g., ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, OSHA, local regulatory requirements)

Documentation & Reporting:

  • maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, repairs, and certifications for regulatory and audit purposes
  • prepare and submit maintenance reports to management, highlighting any issues, actions taken, and recommendations for improvement
  • ensure documentation is easily accessible for audits or inspections by regulatory bodies

Rotations are 4x4 weeks onshore.

Profil

Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in
mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in valve maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
In-depth knowledge of Pressure Relief Valves & VALVES, their operation, and maintenance requirements
Experience with relevant industry standards and codes (API, ASME, etc.)

Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Proficient in valve testing, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and valve
specifications
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to valve maintenance and plant operations
Good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
