Ponticelli Frères, an industrial group with an international presence serving companies in the energy sector, is looking for a Cost Lead.

As we are expanding our Project Management Office for international projects, The Cost Lead will:

• Lead Support Project Engineers/Discipline Engineers in the successful delivery for assigned scopes – on time and within budget.
• Preparation of monthly Cost Reports
• Facilitate Internal Cost review sessions with Project Manager to ensure accurate forecasting and phasing, within budget.
• Provide supporting narrative to Cost Reports for your assigned scopes.
• Support with identifying potential overspends and action ‘Potential Change Orders’ to ensure timely and efficient management of change.
• Monitor and control cost commitments and expenditure.
• Liaise with Planning as required to ensure accuracy of Cost phasing and forecasting.
• Liaise with Engineering, Procurement and Construction functions, and others as required, to maintain awareness of scope activities and their impact on the Budget, Schedule, and Cost forecast.
• Facilitate external Cost review sessions with client.
• Provide adhoc reporting to client and internal management when required
• Review and approve Cost Estimates and Change Orders prior to submission to client.
• Review and approve Purchase and Service requests ensuring sufficient budget is in place and correct cost coding assigned prior to commitment.
• Attend Cost and Estimate Risk analysis sessions as required.
• Review and approve Invoicing.
• Support with Continuous Improvement reviews
• Support with Commercial Close Out
• Promote Cost and Commercial awareness across the business
